Boone Pickens Plan for transfer of energy related production to the United States

T. Boone Pickens announced on July 7th, that he has prepared a plan to reduce America's use of Foreign Oil. Pickens is financing an ad campaign that will educate the American public on the Pickens Plan, which in a span of 10 years could reduce America's use of foreign oil by as much as one-third.

The main jist of the plan is to transfer the use of Natural Gas used to generate electricity to be use as a transportation fuel. Then, good old American Wind Power will be used to generate the electricity output. This is a good sign for Wind Power companies like Nacel Energy, which help smaller scoped wind projects for communities and facilities (like municipal utilises, tribal reservations, and school districts.)

I can just imagine seeing these beautiful wind generators all over Lafayette! Can you?
